Biography
Professor Munashe Shoko is the Former Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Sciences at Great Zimbabwe University and is currently an Associate Professor in the Faculty. He obtained his Ph.D. (Agronomy) at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. He started his university teaching career in the Faculty of Agriculture, Africa University Zimbabwe in 2003 and left for Great Zimbabwe University as Founding Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences in 2011. Professor Shoko has more than 52 publications. Prof Shoko is an external examiner for 4 local and 3 external universities. He is a reviewer of 8 Scientific Journals. Prof Shoko sits on three Boards for private organisations in Zimbabwe.

Munashe Shoko’s research areas include: Soil Fertility Management, Crop rotations and climate change.
