Biography
Olive is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Nutrition & Food Science at Cal Poly Pomona. With more than twenty years’ experience of research, teaching, and industrial services across the USA, Canada, and China, Olive has acquired a good overview of the field of Food Science & Engineering, and particularly strong expertise in a specialized area of novel food ingredient delivery technologies for applications in fortified and functional foods. This international, multidisciplinary background enables her to interact with professionals in a wide variety of related fields. Olive has also been selected to receive one of the IFT’s Prestigious Achievement Awards – W. K. Kellogg Award for International Food Security during 2014 IFT Annual Meeting.
Research Interest
Olive yao li\'s research areas include Sustainable Utilization of Natural Resources by recycling and repurposing agro-food by products and wastes for value-added food or feed applications, microencapsulation and nanotechnology. Specifically she intends to develop novel ingredient systems/technologies for effective delivery of micronutrients and nutraceuticals through fortified and/or functional foods.
Biography
Prof. Tahlim Sudaryanto, Ph.D is Senior Agricultural Economist at the Indonesian Center for Agriculture Socio Economic and Policy Studies (ICASEPS), Ministry of Agriculture, the Republic of Indonesia. He has recently completed his term as Assistant Minister for International Cooperation in the Ministry of Agriculture. Prior to his current position, he has held the following positions in the Ministry: Director, Indonesian Center for Agriculture Socio Economic and Policy Studies; Director, Bureau of Planning and Finance; Executive Secretary, Directorate General of Food Crop Production and; Executive Secretary, Agency for Agricultural Research and Development. During his career, he has also served as lecturer, advisory committee on thesis and dissertation research in both undergraduate and graduate program of several universities. As official of the Ministry of Agriculture, he has participated as delegation on WTO negotiation, various committees and council meetings at the OECD, G20, FAO, UN-ESCAP, APEC, ASEAN forums, and other bilateral meetings. Since January 2014 he has served as a member Board of Trustees, International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), Philippines. In 2015 he serves as Commissioner at the Second Murdoch Commission on Food Security, Trade and Partnership, Murdoch University, Australia. In 2013-2014 he also served as a member of International Advisory Committee, Food&Business Global Challenges Program, Netherland Organization for Scientific Research (NWO), Netherland. During 2006-2010 he was as a member of the Technical Committee, United Nation-Center for the Alleviation of Poverty through Sustainable Agriculture (UN-CAPSA), Bogor, Indonesia.

Biography
Sun Bo is currently a Professor,Director of Yingtan Red Soil Ecological Research Station (National Agro-ecosystem Observation and Research Station in Yingtan); and Deputy director of Key Laboratory of Farmland Conservation of Ministry of Agriculture since 2011;For the year 2004- 2008 he has also served as Director of Soil Sub-Center, Chinese Ecosystem Research Network (CERN), CAS. There are 46 SCI papers, 7 EI papers, 150 journal papers in Chinese and 5 where he has given his contribution which includes Microbialmediation of biogeochemical cycles revealed by simulation of global changes with soil transplant and cropping ,Balance and Management of Nutrients in Agro-ecosystems in China etc.

Sun Bo’s Research Interests include: Soil degradation and ecological rehabilitation to improve the sustainability of grain production systems, Carbon and nitrogen cycling in agro-ecosystems and its optimized management along the climatic transects and key coordinative mechanisms in soil-root-microbe systems to improve nitrogen and phosphorus utilization.
